Learn How Publications was formed in 1998 by a partnership of experienced special educational
needs teachers working in nursery, primary and secondary schools.
Learn How Publications are aware of how stressful the workload can be for Special Educational
Needs Coordinators (SENCOs) and classroom teachers who are often required to produce Individual
Education Plans with no specific training, little assistance and insufficient time.
Together with speech and language therapists and special school teachers, we have developed a
range of materials that are of practical use to teachers in mainstream and special schools.
Learn How Publications products are designed to take away as much stress as possible and save
time spent on Special Education Needs administration so that teachers have more time to spend with
their students.
Teachers can save time with IEP Writer™, an easy to use computer program. SMART targets are
provided in Literacy, Maths, Behaviour, Communication Skills and Early Targets (incorporates P Levels).
A new version, IEP Writer 3 has recently been introduced. IEP Writer 3 provides a way of producing
Individual Education Plans in a fraction of the time it normally takes
